Curating highly exclusive island itineraries requires securing limited inventory at premium resorts well in advance. Because our partners impose strict contractual penalties for canceled rooms and private charters, IslandCalling adheres to a rigorous cancellation policy.
1. Standard Cancellation Timeline
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in your final booking confirmation, the following general cancellation tiers apply to the land and accommodation portions of your itinerary:
- 61+ Days prior to arrival: Loss of the initial non-refundable deposit.
- 45 to 60 Days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee of the total itinerary cost.
- 44 Days or less prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee (No refund).
2. Peak Season & Festive Bookings
Bookings falling over high-demand periods—including Christmas, New Year, Easter, and localized peak seasons (e.g., European Summer in the Seychelles)—are universally strictly non-refundable once the deposit is paid. Our Concierge Desk will clearly flag these dates during the planning phase.
3. Non-Refundable Components
Certain elements of your bespoke trip are non-refundable from the moment of booking. These typically include commercial airline tickets, private jet charters, seaplane transfers, and specialized permits (such as specific marine park access fees). Refunds for these items are solely at the discretion of the third-party operator.
4. Refund Processing
If your cancellation falls within a refundable tier, TripClub Private Limited will initiate the refund within 14-21 business days of receiving your formal written cancellation request. Refunds will be credited back to the original source of payment in Indian Rupees (INR). Please note that bank processing times and currency conversion variations are outside our control.
5. Travel Insurance Requirement
Given the financial commitment required for luxury island travel, IslandCalling strongly advises all clients to purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after paying the initial deposit. This policy should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and logistical disruptions. We cannot offer refunds for trips canceled due to personal emergencies or medical situations outside of the parameters outlined in Section 1.
