Jalakara is for people who would rather wake up to forest and birdsong than to a beach bar. It is small — a few suites, including ones facing the sunset, and a villa — set in the hills of Havelock's interior, with a restaurant of its own. You drive down to the beaches each day, Radhanagar to the west or the quieter east-coast sands, and come back to somewhere very private and very quiet.
