Mauritius · Grand Baie, north-west
A Relais & Châteaux property in the north-west that has been the establishment choice in Mauritius for decades, with an all-suite layout and famously high staff ratios.
The island's classic address
The property
Royal Palm is where Mauritius sends heads of state, and the service culture reflects that — many staff have been there for decades and repeat guests are known by name. Every unit is a suite. The setting is a calm north-west bay, which means warm swimming and sunsets from the beach, and Grand Baie's restaurants and market are a short drive. It is formal in a way the newer resorts are not.
Where you sleep
All suites, from Junior to the Royal Suite. Which one is right depends on the month and who is travelling — that is the first thing we will ask.
