Mauritius · Trou aux Biches, north-west
On what is often called the best beach in Mauritius — a long north-west arc of powder sand with sunset frontage — with villas and suites laid out like a garden village.
The great north-west beach, built for families
The property
Trou aux Biches beach is the postcard of northern Mauritius: shallow, calm, west-facing for sunsets, and long enough that the resort never feels dense. Beachcomber rebuilt the property as a village of thatched suites and pool villas threaded with gardens. It is the strongest family address in the north, with serious kids' facilities, while the beachfront villas keep honeymooners separate.
Where you sleep
Suites and pool villas in garden clusters. Which one is right depends on the month and who is travelling — that is the first thing we will ask.
