The island holds a golf academy laid out by two-time Masters champion José María Olazábal, a wine cellar built into the ground, and a spa with a snow room — a genuinely strange and welcome thing at the equator. The Romantic Pool Residence, reached by its own walkway, is the signature. Service ratios here are among the highest in the country.
