North-west calm, then the east-coast islands
Five nights: a garden resort on a marine-conservation bay, then the east coast with a private island for guests

Two nights at The Oberoi in twenty acres of garden on Turtle Bay, then three at Shangri-La Le Touessrok, whose guests have their own private island, Ilot Mangénie, and golf on Ile aux Cerfs.
Mauritius is small enough to see two coasts in five nights. The Oberoi is quiet, precise and set on a protected bay in the north-west. The drive across to Trou d'Eau Douce takes about an hour, and Le Touessrok gives you the east-coast lagoon, a private island and one of the most scenic golf courses in the Indian Ocean.
