Seychelles · Inner granitic islands, near Praslin
A private nature-reserve island with just four villas and a presidential residence, where the paying guests fund the conservation — seabirds, giant tortoises and nesting turtles included.
Four villas on a nature reserve
The property
Cousine inverts the usual arrangement: the island is a strict nature reserve first, and the handful of guests exist to pay for it. Five species of seabird nest in enormous numbers, giant tortoises wander the paths, and hawksbill turtles nest on the single beach. Four French-colonial villas and one large residence hold everyone; there is a small spa and a chef, and days are built around the wildlife.
Where you sleep
Four colonial-style villas plus the Presidential Villa. Which one is right depends on the month and who is travelling — that is the first thing we will ask.
