Being on Viti Levu rather than an outer island is Nanuku's advantage: you can dive with bull sharks at Beqa Lagoon, raft the Navua River gorge, and visit villages inland, all without a flight. Every villa comes with a Bure Mama and, for families, a dedicated nanny included — which makes it one of the strongest family propositions in the South Pacific. The beach is volcanic-fringed rather than white-sand postcard, and the trade-off is worth understanding.
