Fari Islands is a cluster of four islands developed together, and Patina occupies one of them. The draw is the Fari Marina Village: a walkable centre with a beach club, wine bar, bakery and boutiques that guests from the neighbouring resorts also use. After a week of one-island isolation that variety is genuinely welcome. Kogan's architecture is spare and modern rather than thatch-and-timber, and the wellness programme is unusually structured.
