Amilla breaks the beach-or-overwater binary with a third kind of villa: raised into the tree canopy, with sea glimpses through the palms. The kitchen runs 'Wellness Your Way' — proper gluten-free, keto, vegan and Ayurvedic menus rather than token substitutions, which makes it the easiest island in the Maldives for particular eaters. Big lagoon-facing residences take multi-generation groups, and Hanifaru Bay is close in season.
