Sandbank days, then the treetops
Seven nights in Baa Atoll for families: a sandbank playground, then treetop villas and big residences

Built for families: Finolhu, with a 1.8-kilometre sandbank and a beach-club mood, then Amilla, with villas up in the trees, flexible dining and residences big enough for a whole family.
Both islands sit in Baa Atoll, so moving between them is a short boat ride, not another seaplane. Finolhu is the fun one — the sandbank, a shack restaurant out on the sand, mantas nearby in season. Amilla is calmer, with treetop pool villas and residences that suit grandparents too. Both have children's clubs.

Over the atolls to Baa — the flight itself is half the fun for children.
Nearly two kilometres of sand trailing off the island. Lunch at the shack out on it.
A guided family snorkel in the morning; the kids' club takes the afternoon.
Amilla Maldives Resort & ResidencesDays 4–7 · 4 nights
A short hop within the atoll. Villas here sit on the beach, over the water or up in the trees.
Pools, the beach and the kids' club; a treatment for the adults.
A boat trip to look for dolphins or, in season, the mantas of Baa Atoll.
A sandbank picnic arranged for the whole family.
Back over the atolls, timed to your flight home.
