Dimakya is a small private island with a house reef good enough that many guests never take a boat. The real draw is position: Coron Bay holds a sunken Japanese WWII fleet in water shallow enough for recreational divers, which makes it one of the best wreck-diving sites in the world. Dugongs are seen in the area, and Kayangan Lake is a day trip. It is far better value than the Indian Ocean at a comparable level of seclusion.
