Small, Maldivian-owned, boutique
Milaidhoo is small enough to walk end to end in fifteen minutes and deliberately kept that way. Being Maldivian-owned shows in the details — Ba'theli, the overwater restaurant, is built in the shape of a traditional trading boat and serves a Maldivian tasting menu that is the real thing rather than a gesture. The house reef is excellent, and Hanifaru Bay is close.
