Mature, small, adults-leaning
Baros opened in 1973 and the vegetation shows it — the island is genuinely wooded rather than landscaped, which is rare. It is small, quiet and skews adult, with no kids' club by design. The house reef runs the entire way around the island and is close enough to swim from the beach, which makes it one of the best snorkelling resorts this near to Malé. The Piano Deck, a sandbank platform for two, is the signature.
